I made my first drum in 2001 under the skillful direction of a Dakota
drum maker, and I fell in love with the process. He shared with me the teachings of the drum and ways of tradition
as well as the sacred energy field produced when a drum is made and played with the Light of Creator's Love.
The drum is a powerful healing tool whose vibrations move us to the core of our very beings and awaken the highest
part of ourselves to the Oneness inherent in our Divine Creation. The Drum tells us the truth of who we are with
a language beyond voice and words. With the heartbeat of Mother Earth the beat of the drum grounds us to her while simultaneously
setting our Spirits free to soar and explore. This is the beginning of the Shamanic journey to other worlds below, above and
parallel to our own. The beat of the drum - as well as dancing, chanting and singing - can take us on a journey so amazing
that it changes who we are, or awakens us to who we truly are. Join us on the Journey of rememberance~We Are One.
